About Me

Here are a couple of things about me:

-I have been crazy about turtles since I was 3.
-I am still crazy about turtles, as well as all other animals, especially reptiles and amphibians
-I have two small children, a boy and a girl
-I love to knit and have been doing so since January 2005
-I am amassing a decent (some would say gigantic) yarn stash and knitting book library
-I graduated from Yale
-I have a Master's in Biology
-I used to be a high school teacher and taught in an inner city school
-I am a tutor
-I tutor kids both in person and online
-I am a licensed broker and am working as a financial advisor
-I have lived all over the world, including Africa, Asia, Europe, North America, South America. I have also visited Australia and New Zealand
-I like Victorian novels
-I am a Unitarian Universalist
-I enjoy quiet time, which I rarely have
